We believe there is considerable potential for consolidation in the distributed and diffuse information networks around both primary and secondary healthcare. We also see major opportunities for innovative companies to capitalise on the trend towards consumers taking ownership of their health-related data. Software or IT enabled services in the healthcare vertical, especially in consumer health, are also of special interest as our expertise in the software sector allows us to identify strategic acquisitions or creatively position crossover companies in non-traditional ways to achieve higher valuations and maximise strategic premia at exit.

We have experience in the medical device field spanning orthopaedics implants, cardiac devices and drug delivery mechanisms. We are keen to work with companies exploiting proprietary technology platforms, such as nanotechnology, advanced materials, biocompatible materials or particle engineering, and with businesses in sectors including home-based diagnostics and monitoring, orthopaedics and cardiac health.
