Raising Capital
Don't underestimate how difficult it is to raise venture capital. Venture capital funds will typically invest in 1% or less of the companies that approach them. Having the right raw ingredients does not guarantee success.

Successfully raising venture capital funding is all about rigorous preparation, careful identification of the right potential investors and efficient execution of the process. It is also about knowing how to maximise your market value, and how to negotiate the best deal.

Preparation phase
In the preparation phase (2-4 weeks) we work with you to ensure you are correctly positioned from the investment perspective, that your funding strategy matches both your needs and the market appetite, and that your materials (business plan, financial forecasts, presentation and due diligence documents) clearly articulate an attractive investment case.

Marketing phase
In the marketing phase (8-12 weeks) we approach potential investors on your behalf, carefully selected based on our knowledge of their investment criteria and your requirements, and set up meetings for you. We have very extensive relationships throughout the venture capital community in Europe so we are not only able to identify the most appropriate investor for you but also to make the necessary introductions to the right people. We manage the post meeting follow up and the initial due diligence, providing support in order to minimise the drain on management resources.

Due diligence
We provide assistance in your negotiations with investors, in order to help you achieve the right deal, based on our knowledge of the market and of investor specific practices. Once the deal is agreed we project manage the due diligence in order to see the process through to completion (6-8 weeks).
