Richard was with IBM from 1996 to 2005, where he held a number of senior positions in marketing, strategy and general management. Earlier in his career Richard, as Finance Director, led the MBO of Data Sciences Limited from Thorn EMI plc in 1991 before managing its sale to IBM in1996. Richard is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (FCA), qualifying with Ernst & Young. He is Chairman of 7 City Learning Ltd and is non-executive director at Global Crossing UK.
