She was previously at the Max Planck Institute-EVA in Leipzig, Germany, researching linguistics as a Daimler-Benz Fellow and DAAD Scholar. Before this, she worked in clinical neuropsychology research at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London, UK. She has an MA and First Class BA in Medical Sciences from Cambridge University, and an AHRC-funded MA with Distinction in Philosophy of Cognitive Science from Sussex University. Jessica speaks fluent French and German.
